Teacher Residency Program

Mississippi Teacher Residency (MTR) Program

Beginning in May 2024, the sixth cohort of MTR students will begin studying at Delta State with support from a grant from the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) through the Kellog Foundation. MTR is part of a statewide initiative to expand and diversify the teacher pipeline so that all students have teachers who are well-prepared, appropriately licensed and can serve as role models.
